Frida, when you select the brush to use, click on right corner of brush shape/palette icon. There will be a box with a small arrow inside a small circle (or square, if old version), click there and you’ll get a new menu box with options. One of these options is "load brushes", then you just have to click and select the brush on your folder. :D
