How to Download, Install & Use Photoshop Patterns!

Help! I’ve watched this video 10 times and have done everything EXACTLY how it says! When I go to fill my pattern in the box it’s B/W! in the pattern box it’s color but when I use the paint bucket or the other two options in still goes on B/W!!! It’s so frustrating… I love these patterns. What am I doing wrong? PLEASE HELP
