Hi Anna,
It depends on wether you’ll be making money out of your homepage or not. If you are, I consider it as "commercial use" and for that you need to get a licence. Send me an e-mail and I tell you how you go ahead and get one. You find my contact information on my homepage http://stilok.se/en/contact.html

Best regards
Stina

Hi there,
I am creating a website for wedding invitations…. it isnt up yet.. but i wanted to use some of your brushes on my homepage design… i would love to be able to use them on some of my invitations as well…. but would it be okay if i incorporated it on the design of my homepage?

Stilok said 11 months ago at 10:44AM

Hi adapter. I’m on vista and I have no trouble loading the brushset so I can’t help you there. I hope you have noticed that the brushfile is named stilokvector3 and not flowers n’ swirls (sorry for that!)

Beautiful work! Is it ok to use your brushes on web and blog designs? I don’t charge for my work, but leave it up to people if they want to donate for the time I put into making their sites. I have a page on my own site dedicated to giving credits to brush makers.

Thanks

Brook: sorry I can’t help you, I know nothing about windows vista (I,m on XP myself) and nothing about PS Elements either.

Tami: These brushes are made for photoshop CS and higher and the file format .abr is PS specific (I think) so I don’t think you can use them in Paint Shop

Stilok said about 1 year ago at 12:36PM

Hi Burn,

You need to have at least Photoshop CS for my brushes to work. If you have an older version you would need to convert images. I don’t have an imagepack of these brushes though and (I’m sorry to have to say) not enough time to create one either.

Burn said about 1 year ago at 01:21PM

if i win, my design will be used on an excercise book in australia.

Stilok said about 1 year ago at 07:41PM

Hi Danielle,

These brushes are made for use in Photoshop. Mine works in Photoshop CS and higher. If you read the introduction you’ll see that this site is all about photoshop brushes.

And yes you can change size and colors.

Best regards
Stilok

Danielle said about 1 year ago at 07:13PM

I would love to us this on my wedding invitations that I am planning on making myself. I stumbled upon this site and love the graphics here, but have no idea how to use these. I don’t really know what program to use them with either (I went to the website but there are so many different programs to choose from). I’m assuming once I download the program and download these that I can change colors and format them to fit on my invites, right? If you could give me instructions, like what program I need to use for this design (and how to know what one to use for other designs as well), I would be so grateful! I am pretty computer savvy so I think as long as I just know where to start I should be able to figure it out. Thanks!

Hi!
Isa, I’ll see what I can do…

Chris, I’d would really like to see what you’ll come up with. Send me an e-mail. (You’ll find it on my site www.stilok.se)

Agi, It’s ok if you use it for your homework. I’d love to check it out.

Chris said about 1 year ago at 10:46PM

Thankyou so much for answering!!! I´ll keep you informed!!!

Isa said about 1 year ago at 04:35PM

Hi!
Cool brushes you got, but can you make some that works in Photoshop 7.0? :D Since that’s the only version I have!

stilok said about 1 year ago at 12:16PM

Hi Chris!
Just download the file to your desktop. Since it’s a compressed file you need to "unzip" it before you can use it. If your’re a windows xp-user you can just click on the zip-file and choose "extract all files". In the dialog box that opens you can choose where you want to save your .abr-file (that’s the format for the brush-file) Personally I perfer to save my brushes in the folder dedicaded by Photoshop. the path to it can look like this C:\Program\Adobe\Photoshop CS\Presets\Brushes. But it’s not necessary to save your brushes here, you can store them anywhere you like on your computer. To use them you just go to Edit/Preset Manager in photoshop and choose "load" and klick on your new brushset and they’re ready to use.
Let me know if you need further instructions.
Good luck!
Stilok
