Description:
TECHINQUE:
To achieve the coloration used in the preview image please follow these easy steps and stop sending me notes asking me how to do this! You will be ignored from now on, I am too busy to keep telling people this:

1: Make a layer with a black background.
2: Make a new layer that is blank.
3: On this blank layer use the brushes in white.
4: Make a new layer, set the blending mode to Overlay.
5: Using soft round brushes of different sizes and colors, paint into this layer and you will the color show up over the flora brushes on the layer beneath.

To make the colors brighter, duplicate or copy the layer with the bright colors, or set the blending mode to Hard Light.

Brushes made in Photoshop 7.0 – but may work in lesser/higher versions as well.

Pack Contains: 8 brushes; including:

2 different sized leaves
1 astral rose
1 astral flowerbud
1 astral butterfly
an assortment of whispy, starspangled curves

Please credit me if you use these for any work, and feel free to send me a Note or comment to let me know what you did with them.
Enjoy.

I just wanted to let you know that I used these brushes for my senior portfolio, which is a portfolio with stuff from all 4 years of high school and some other things. These brushes are GOREGOUS! I’m in love with these brushes. Thank you for posting them!

Aeltari said 2 months ago at 04:12AM

These are lovely brushes, but you do have to have a working knowledge of Photoshop to make them work. The instructions are fine, but it does not make the colors glow. Glow effect is a whole different animal and it requires duplicating the colored layer and putting a gaussian blur on it. Thats how I do it anyway.

I cannot thank you enough! This tutorial is almost life changing, in terms of my relationship with Photoshop! I am so grateful, I feel like I’ve just had an a-ha moment, a breakthrough. It’s so great. I’ve been tinkering around with Photoshop for years but this is really cool. Always learning new things. So much gratitude. Great brush as well!

Respond on Ali’s question; make a layer there u whrite whit thw brush then take ctrl + t and u can move it around.. u dont move the brush u move what u have painted.. if u want to color in diffrent colurs and then move around so take 1layer and then duplicate so u have 3 layers of the same stamp and make the butterfly in three diffrent colors on diffrent layers.. delete the color there u want a color to be more see trough and take the next layer and do the same.. any way.. link the 3 layers and ctrl t and move it..

Thank you so much for this brush! And the instructions! I do have a question though. How do you rotate the brushes? Like the butterfly is diagonal and not striaht up & down. How do you do that? anyone? Thanks tons!

Jenny said 10 months ago at 07:28PM

Love ur brushes, but what did u use to make the glitters? If it’s a set of brushes, will u give me the link to where I can download them?

Toxn said 11 months ago at 04:39AM

Hi, first off, would like to commend you on the brushes, I used the butterfly with the curve line and rotated it to make a perfect heart that looks snazzy with the butterflys top antlers. :) its unpublished but its sweet none the less. Any direct links for credit?

Everyone else:

To set the layer to overlay, double click the layer in the layers window and set the entire layer to overlay, not just a brush or the overlay feature.

I didn’t understand it myself until I looked at it for a moment.

Denise Smith said 11 months ago at 01:13PM

Yes I would like to know if you have a banner that I could use to put on my website to link back to your site, so that people will know what brushes I use and where I got them. I love your brushes. They are just awesome. Keep up the good work. Very talented in my book.
Thank you,
Denise

KiRoA said 12 months ago at 12:41PM

i am asking for the fonts not how 2 do it =)

Lilika said 12 months ago at 06:39PM

Olha, realmente o seu trabalho é ótimo!!
Se vc não querer ensinar tudo bem!!
Mas então não post algo sem sentido, pq o q vc explicou acima, não dá resultado nenhum, agora entendo o pq do seu texto ignorante: "To achieve the coloration used in the preview image please follow these easy steps and stop sending me notes asking me how to do this! You will be ignored from now on, I am too busy to keep telling people this:"

KiRoA said 12 months ago at 01:02AM

OMG!!! Thank you for this amazing brushes,I download them a week ago, they are just beautiful.are you planing to make more like this? Thank you again.

Francisco said about 1 year ago at 11:46AM

Your steps don’t work dude, painting in different colors on the overlay blended layer doesn’t change the color of the brushes, just the color of the background.

Kathy said about 1 year ago at 08:53PM

They are beautiful!
