This is a free checkered pattern texture kit I’ve created. The kit contains 6 80mm x 80mm 300dpi CMYK seamless tileable patterns.
They’re free for commercial and personal use and you don’t need to give credit.
Hopefully they’ll be useful to somebody, and I’d love to see what you do with them!

Everything was created from scratch and using parts of my own stock library except for the use of some fantastic grunge brushes from Wefunction: (http://wefunction.com/2010/04/42-more-subtle-grunge-brushes/) These were used for extra weathering effects. The brushes are described as “This set is completely free, you can use them anyway without the need of giving credit.” and I take no credit for them. But their site is great for design resources so definitely check them out!

Pete, I saved them in my Preset folder but they will not show up when I go to "Fill" with one of your lovely patterns. I went back to open up the file and it is not saved with the .pat format. Thank you for all of your efforts. I will have to figure out how to use them in a different way. It is very kind and generous for designers like you to share these. Thanks.
