    You can use them on text or on shapes, I mainly use them on text though. They make a shape (or text) look better than they do when they are "flat" with just color. With styles you can add shadows, gradients, borders (aka stroke), and more. I think that explains it.

    This is awesome!

    Sorry about the uploader :( What do we need to do to make it better? The max size of an image you can upload is 300kb for a preview so if you "save for web" first that should be plenty. Let me know what you think.
