OMG. HEELP :( I’ve tried downloading some brushes here and extracted them to the photoshop brushes folder but it won’t load !! :( It ALWAYS says, "This file is not compatible with this version of Photoshop" blah blah blah, BUT it is !! Coz I’m using Photoshop 7.0

Help anyone ? What am I doing wrong…

Hey, Mike G. These r tips from my sis… try overlapping the brushes from darker to lighter. U can also set the brush’s mode to multiply, this will make the brush go from lighter to darker but u will be able to see that the brush looks like its glowing. Or why not simply try applying the outer/inner glow to u’re layer. This will have instant glow effects. Hope my sister’s tips helped. If this doesn’t work then just go online to find advanced help.

I love it, but I don’t know how to use it in Adobe Photoshop 7. I just have it and don’t know everything about it, but can someone tell me how you can use it in Photoshop 7?

I think your brushes are beautiful, I just wish I could make them work with cs3. Ignore Lala, however. You’re doing a wonderful job, and even though I personally can’t use them, keep up the good work!

Dani: why would you need brushes for straight arrows? Photoshop has that built-in shapes that include arrows and anyway, you should be able to draw arrows yourself if you’re using photoshop, come on dude. :-)

I’ve used these brushes for our dance school poster for the shows next week. I made one of the girls into a snowfairy on the ballet poster. It wouldn’t have looked quite as beautiful or so elegant without these brushes! Thank you as I only had a few days to complete the poster for my folio and for it to go to print. ;O)
I also used them to make the tap, hiphop & jazz dancers more abstract. Love the brushes again, beautiful work. So inspiring. Please create more!!!

This is a truly neat brush set, and I’m enjoying it immensely. Great work!

P.S. To those wanting to install it:
you’ll have to unzip the file to get it, google how to do that with your specific operating sytem. (winzip, etc…).
Then you’ll have to put the file in your presets in your photoshop folder. Assuming you didn’t mess with the default locations, here’s how to place the file in windows. Go to ’C > program files > adobe > -whatever version of photoshop you have- > presets > brushes.

just drop it in there, and when you restart photoshop, it will come up in your brushes. To use it in your current session, just click ‘load brushes’ from your brush preset manager.
