Hi there, my name is Nick and I am a professional artist living in Hastings which is situated on the South East Coast of England. I also like to indulge in photography and love to photograph anything from landscapes, maritime, castles, old churches and ruins and often use the results for my paintings.

Often friends ask me to photograph special family events for them and it has now extended to my local musician friends asking me to photograph their gigs. If this continues, I guess that I am going to have start charging.

I have Photoshop Elements 6 installed on my Mac laptop and am amazed at what one can do and the amount of programmes that it has and that is a limited version! I have begun to make attempts at creating posters and with the addition of brusheezy brushes it now gives me far greater manoeuvrability.
