When we refer to vectorizing an image, we mean changing an image that is a bitmap (or bitmap) image into a vector graphics. Vector graphics are easily modified and scaled, which makes them suitable for a variety of work in design. Vector art tends to be smoother and more "cut" than traditional images, as it doesn't use pixels that are repeated across multiple screens.
