wow! thats a very creative way of making your own textures!
    good job!!! love it!

  3. Thanks for that comment! I built these out of printer paper. I put them on a cookie sheet and use the coffee I was going to toss out. I then put this in the oven and then let it dry and warp the paper. I believe I use a brush then put back in the oven. That is about all I can remember.

    Jake,
First let me say how impressed I am with these "Vintage Paper Textures" - but I am confused, you say you made these? but they look like authentic paper! I guess I do not understand, Did you take actual paper and digitally reproduce it, or, did you treat papers in such a way as to have them appear to be vintage (as in tea or coffee staining them) and then photograph it? or did you start off in CS5 with a blank document and create the textures, colors, etc to achieve these wonderful results. Please tell me how they came to be. I am dying of curiosity! And you say you created 20 of them?? and all different? Is there anyplace I may see them. I am amazed! I never would have thought this was possible! I would love to know how this is done. Please respond. Sharon Turner, [email protected]
