First of all. Really nice brushes. I like them a lot. But I want to bring up a thought about the licensing.

I'm sorry. But I do not understand how a creative commons license like this applies to brushes. I'm not picking on you. It's just that I do see a lot of confusing licensing out there pertaining to materials used in artwork.

"This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-No Derivative Works 3.0 Unported License. You may redistribute this work even for commercial reasons, as long as you credit credit this artist by linking back and pass it along unchanged and in whole. You may not remix, tweak, or build upon it in any way."

Here is the problem. Basically people are free to download the brushes and redistribute them just as they are, even for profit only if you credit the source. But you can't use them in a work of art because that's tweaking and changing them? Or does this mean you can't alter them and redistribute the brushes themselves?

It's vague and I wish Creative Commons would be more specific. I don't feel I can use them in my artwork or it might go against the license.

Creative commons licenses were originally created for software. And they don't really address this one issue of artists using materials to create new art. Maybe we need some specifically for art and artists.
