2-strip Technicolor

The actions create colors similar to the 2-strip Technicolor process popular in film during the 20’s and 30’s. • Not destructive (creates layers). • Works on layered documents! • Works with any language of Photoshop (i hope!). Tested with CS4 and CS5 but should be compatible with future versions and back to CS2. Note: it does not add effects like film grain, vignetting, distortion, dust and scratches to age the image. This is up to the user. I recommend having a look at my Photo Aging Actions: http://chain.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d20v9vo Ellipsis

@sisaynoraseng: Unzip/open the .zip file. Then double-click the .atn-file to add the actions to your Actions panel in Photoshop (Window > Actions).

It is not a plugin. It is an action set.

Simplified explanation is that the blue and green channel is made identical (the green copied over the blue). The resulting "channel" is cyan. It simulates having shot the color film through a red and cyan filter (instead of RGB).
Some yellow is added to make it look better.

  22. How does it work? So amazing!!!!
